Sometimes you have to wait

There are a few things in life, that once I had experienced them, I was left very perplexed as to why it took me so long. One of those things, besides riding a Harley was getting to Nepal. My first trip to India was in 1982 – Nepal on the other hand not until 2012! A trip to India with friends in 1988 was enough fuel on the fire to relocate my wife and I to India in 1989. You would think living in India for a couple years one might make the simple little trip to Nepal. However that would come only 22 years later! Sometimes you have to wait.

Most times it’s worth the wait

We rented a motorbike so we could explore the area and were very happy we did.

So finally, some 20 plus years later we found ourselves in Thailand with a bit of time and said this is it, “Lets go to Nepal!”. We grabbed some tickets from air India that would whisk us through Delhi and unto Katmandu.
